Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (GSMEA) and Professional Education Fund of Georgia (GVEF) have discussed some aspects of development assistance for small and medium-sized businesses. A significant aspect in the stage of creation and business management recognized the need to develop budding entrepreneurs initial knowledge and skills, and to achieve the operating by entrepreneurs of business success - the acquisition or improvement of the necessary competences.

The activities in support of small and medium-sized businesses sides unanimously recognized the availability to the respective educational services and especially designated in this role and importance of non-formal vocational training, in view of the fact that it is through the use of flexible approaches and principles, the introduction of new models and content of modern information and ICT creates favorable conditions for the implementation of the principles of learning throughout life (LLL), as well as personal growth each person enables the optimal formation of individual educational trajectory.

An important condition for the effective promotion of this form of education in advancing small and medium business parties recognized the need for its innovative modernization and outlined the ways of intensification.

For the purpose of strengthen the participation of non-formal vocational training in support of small and medium sized businesses between the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (GSMEA) and the Foundation for Professional Education of Georgia (GVEF) has been concluded Memorandum of Cooperation, which defined the goals and objectives of joint activities, as well as the forms and directions of cooperation .
